Here’s the thing:
We’re not just minds that think or know things. We are whole beings. Protective patterns (from epigenetics and life experience) become wired into our nervous system and they’re subconscious. They’re not controlled by our conscious mind so we can’t think our way out of them.

These protective patterns keep us braced, cautious, critical, exhausted. While they were adaptive at one point, they can also stop us from fully feeling, healing, or growing. They make lasting change feel out of reach.

Real change starts deeper.

That’s where somatic work comes in.
It gently brings awareness to the subconscious patterns holding you back—and gives you space, support, and tools to shift them. This work is about returning to yourself—your rhythm, your values, your freedom.

The right support matters. You deserve to work with someone who listens with care, invites questions, explains things clearly, and honours your pace, your consent, and your lived wisdom. Someone who helps you feel safe enough to explore, feel, and rewire the patterns that no longer serve you.

Hi, I’m Wendy.

I’m passionate about creating experiences that guide people back to their true selves—where compassion, purpose, vitality, joy and belonging flourish.

As a kid, I learned to “keep calm and carry on,” to mask my emotions. I looked happy enough on the outside, but inside, I felt nervous and on edge. I “walked on eggshells,” and tried to be a good girl in order to soothe the emotional temperature of my childhood home. There was a code of silence which left me feeling alone and confused.

I felt guilty and anxious when I wasn’t working hard or taking care of others. I ignored my own emotions, needs and exhaustion while working hard to please, appease and gain approval. I became disconnected from myself, my coping ability, my passion for life, my purpose and life force.

Eventually, my physical health started to suffer. By my mid-twenties, I suffered with IBS, chronic infections and endocrine issues. I was chronically fatigued, developed migraines and became even more anxious.

For two decades, I chased treatment solutions, trying desperately to find something or someone to heal me. I tried dozens of medications, diets, supplements and wellness treatments, from conventional medicine to way “out there” modalities. I took workshops and read every health, healing, self-help, spiritual and personal growth book I could get my hands on. Some of these therapies helped me survive my health crisis, and I still value them today, but nothing created lasting change until I started somatic practice. Somatic practices gave me the tools to rebuild trust and vitality in my body and a sense of worth and calm in my inner being. When I found somatics, everything changed.
