Here’s the thing:
We’re not just minds that think or know things. We are whole beings. Our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and how we move through the world is shaped by the experiences we’ve lived and the ways we’ve learned to adapt or protect ourselves - especially in childhood. These protective patterns become wired into our nervous system and they’re subconscious. They’re not controlled by our conscious mind so we can’t think our way out of them.
These protective patterns become woven into our posture, our breath, our mood and choices. They keep us braced, cautious, critical, exhausted. While they were adaptive at one point, they can also stop us from fully feeling, healing, or growing. They make lasting change feel out of reach.
Real change starts deeper.
That’s where somatic work comes in.
It gently brings awareness to the subconscious patterns in your body and nervous system—and gives you space, support, and tools to shift them.
This work isn’t about forcing change. It’s about returning to yourself—your rhythm, your values, your freedom.
And you don’t have to do it alone.

Hi, I’m Wendy.
I’m passionate about creating experiences for people to discover a true sense of who they are inside, to find compassion, purpose and belonging, to feel empowered, vital and radiant.
Growing up, I learned to shove my emotions down and hide them - to “keep calm and carry on.” Due to a volatile home environment and pressure to pretend like everything was wonderful, I felt nervous and on edge much of the time. I “walked on eggshells,” and tried really hard to be a good girl in order to soothe the emotional temperature of the household. Nobody talked about or explained anything which left me feeling alone and confused.
I hid parts of myself so well, even I had a hard time knowing what I needed or wanted. I felt guilty and anxious when I wasn’t working hard or taking care of others. I ignored my own emotions, needs and exhaustion while working hard to please, appease and gain approval. I became disconnected from myself, my coping ability, my passion for life, my purpose and life force.
In my twenties, I contracted a tropical virus and became a “long hauler” of the virus. It left my body depleted and unable to digest food properly. I suffered with “IBS,” chronic infections and endocrine issues. I was chronically fatigued, developed migraines and became even more anxious.
For two decades, I chased treatment solutions, trying desperately to find something or someone to heal me. I tried “everything” - allopathic and naturopathic medicine, diet and lifestyle changes, body work, chiropractic care, acupuncture, osteopathy, biofeedback, homeopathy, manifesting, NLP, past life regression, soul retrieval, prayer, energy work, and more. I read every health, healing and self-help book I could get my hands on and enrolled in countless workshops and trainings. Some of these therapies helped me survive my health crisis, and I still value them today, but nothing created lasting change until I started somatic practice. Somatic practices gave me the tools to rebuild trust and vitality in my body and a sense of worth and calm in my inner being. When I found somatics, everything changed.
